What it does
What the paid tier earns and what is taken from it. Revenue is the average paid list times the monthly price on the monthly share and a twelfth of the discounted annual price on the rest. A platform charges either per subscriber on the whole list or a share of subscription revenue, and a card processor takes a percentage and a fixed fee per payment.
Where it lives
The same schedule in each model that carries it, with the rows to open. Open a model in the browser, go to the sheet, and click the lines.
- Assumptions, rows 41–50: Paid price, monthly plan, Paid subscribers on the annual plan, Annual plan discount to twelve monthly payments, Annual plan price…
- Revenue, rows 6–11: Average paid subscribers, Monthly plan, Annual plan, recognised monthly, Subscription revenue…
What a reviewer looks for
- Annual plans counted at the monthly price.
- A revenue-share platform compared with a per-subscriber one at a single list size.
- Card fees left out, which matters most at low prices.
